Custom accessories

We also create custom designs for specific items. Maybe there’s a bolero you’re looking for but just can’t find, or long sleeves that you’d love designed and attached to your dress, or maybe you’re looking for a unique shaped sash that no one else would have. You can choose from the selection of beautiful fabrics we have in our boutique, we can order fabric from the designer of your dress for a perfect match, or you can purchase your fabric, to create your own one of a kind piece.

Frequently asked questions

When should I book my alterations appointment?

We recommend booking your appointment at least 10-12 weeks in advance of your wedding, to ensure ample time to complete your alterations, stress free!

How long do the alterations take?

We generally keep your dress for 2-3 weeks to complete the alterations. After your final fitting we can steam it for you, getting rid of any little wrinkles that may have happened along the way. You can pick up your dress upon steaming, or we can keep it until the day before your wedding (so there’s no peeking!), and for your convenience.

What if I bought my dress from another store?

You can most definitely bring your dress to With Love for your alterations if you have bought it elsewhere, brand new or used. We will be happy to help fit your wedding gown to you!

I got my dress altered somewhere else and am not happy with the result. Am I able to bring my dress to you to try to fix it?

Although we can’t guarantee to be able to fix or undo the alterations done to your dress, we will try our very best to come up with a solution to make your dress fit you properly, and look its very best.

I have a dress that’s too long, but it’s not for a wedding, can you still alter it?

Of course! We would be more than happy to fit any dress or skirt to you, no job is too big or too small. Fit is the most important part to any look.
